It's a challenge for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have already been conquered.

We're talking about the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, the ones sought by the peak baggers, are all that remain for a squad that has won it all.

The fact it required as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, taking back their record for the largest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the bowlers that have represented Australia over five decades.

What is certain is this century was far harder to anticipate.

The Christchurch destruction in 2022 came as she led the batting statistics, but this performance followed six innings in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had been unable to reach 30.

"If you've been watching me in practice sessions, it was a frustrating experience because it seemed I've had no rhythm at all," commented Healy.

"A chance to take the field and face the challenge with her and merely enjoy the moment in that aspect, somewhat inspired me," stated Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, scoring 21 fours and three big hits.

When she was removed Australia needed 66 more at run per delivery - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I am glad we have the belief to achieve that now," continued Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, if necessary, we are confident we can achieve it."

Those words will be the last Australia's opponents at this tournament need to hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this success following victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a meeting with traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final place may well be secure.

During that phase they exited the prior year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - an encounter Healy couldn't play because of torn tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the inaugural occasion at a major tournament.

So great is her will, she later said she wanted to have participated despite the injury.

Yet even as she later admitted those injuries have pushed back thoughts of retirement, this championship is anticipated as her concluding event as leader in 50-over cricket and she is still to achieve an international tournament as leader.

Success in India would take her to the summit of her last major obstacle.
